The Results of nominations and elections to fill vacancies on the Alumni Council for next year were announced last month by Sidney C. Hayward '26, Secretary of the General Association of Alumni, when nominations closed March 10. Positions on the Council are being filled in the seven Alumni Council Districts of the country as a result of nominations by the alumni clubs in each area. Members who are continuing for second and final terms, and those starting first terms of office, are listed below:

DISTRICT I (New England States): Edward Winsor '24 of Providence reelected for a second term of two years; and E. Spencer Miller '31 of Portland first term of two years, succeeding Andrew J. Oberlander '26 of Montpelier.

DISTRICT II (Middle Atlantic States): John H. Davis Jr. '25 of New York City first term of two years, succeeding Nichol M. Sandoe '19 of New York City; and Robert L. Paterson '36 of Rochester first term of two years, succeeding William G. Morton '28 of Syracuse.

DISTRICT III (Central States): Henry S. Embree 'go of Chicago reelected for a second term of two years.

DISTRICT IV (Middlewestern States): John B. Faegre Jr. '33 of Minneapolis first term of two years, succeeding Stephen A. Osborn '27 of St. Paul; Leon L. Freeman '23 of Racine, Wis., first term of two years, succeeding Richard W. Walker '28 of Omaha.

DISTRICT V (Southern States): Joseph H. Lane '21 of Chattanooga and Percy H. Russell '29 of Washington, D. G., both reelected for second terms of two years.

DISTRICT VI (Southwestern States): John L. Ferguson '15 of Tulsa reelected for a second term of two years; and Everett H. Parker '16 of Denver, first term of two years, succeeding John M. Cunningham '18 of Denver.

DISTRICT VII (Western States): Leon I. Rothschild '24 of Los Angeles, first term of two years, succeeding Murray Hawkins '19 of Los Angeles.
