I should like to advise that the Dartmouth Lawyers Association of New York held its annual dinner at the Dartmouth Club on Wednesday, May 6, with the president of the Association, Carl E. Newton '20, presiding.

The speakers were the Very Reverend James A. Pike, J.S.D., Dean of the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, New York; Justin A. Stanley '33. Vice President of the College; and Mr. Frank C. Wright Jr., Director, Public Relations of the National Committee for Free Europe. Needless to say, the speeches were of the same high caliber as the men who gave them.

The attendance was distinguished by its quality rather than quantity as there were several last-minute cancellations due to business reasons. We had approximately 30 lawyers at the dinner and sincerely hope that next year the turnout will be larger.

The duly elected officers for the coming year are Austin C. Keough '11, president; PaulFox '32, vice president; Walter A. Darby Jr. '39, secretary. The executive committee consists of Carl E. Newton '20, Herbert M. Ball'29, Loren T. Wood '39, and John J. O'ConnorJr. '41.
