Fifty-Fifth Reunion

The attendance at our 55th anniversary was not so large as we had hoped, but those who were present found it very enjoyable. At our only formal meeting around the supper table on Monday evening, five of the class were present—Adams, Gile, Deane, Davis, and Comstock, together with Mrs. Gile and Miss Louise Whiting, Deane's granddaughter. Informal headquarters were early established on the veranda of the Inn, and there on Monday morning, Morton and Gage joined us for a time. Gage's closer loyalty is to the class of '79, with which he graduated, but we always insist in counting him in. Neither was able to stay for the supper, however, or to appear before the photographer for the class group in the afternoon. It was voted to meet again at the 60th in 1937.

On the third of July over 100 persons called on Judge and Mrs. A. E. Cudworth at their home at South Londonderry, Vt., in celebration of Judge Cudworth's 80th birthday. Many letters and telegrams were also received from absent friends, and among the presents was an electric clock from the Windham County Bar Association, of which he has been a member for more than half a century, and a goldheaded cane from the trustees of the Jamaica Savings Bank, of which he is

president. See the '76 items immediately preceding this for a mention of the death of the widow of our classmate Campbell, and the 1905 items for an account of Carroll A. Campbell, his son.
