A DARTMOUTH Alumni Regional Conference, similar to the gatherings held recently in Denver, Atlanta and Dallas, will take place in Kansas City, Missouri, on Friday and Saturday, November 12 and 13. Representatives of alumni clubs in the West and Southwest will meet with several College officers for the purpose of discussing and adopting plans for a strengthened alumni organization in that region, with special emphasis on the new National Enrollment Program, to attract and develop interest in Dartmouth on the part of outstanding boys from west of the Mississippi.

President Dickey will go to Kansas City for the Saturday, November 13, events, which will include an evening dinner meeting for conference delegates and for all alumni and their wives in the area. The "Heart of America" Dartmouth Alumni Association, hosts for the conference, will stage the dinner at the University Club. Other College officers participating in the two-day program will be Albert I. Dickerson '30, director of the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid; Edward T. Chamberlain '36, executive officer of the College and secretary of the Alumni Council Committee on Enrollment and Admissions; and Robert K. Hage '35, assistant director of admissions and executive secretary of the Committee on Scholarships and Loans.

The Dartmouth Alumni Council is sponsoring the Kansas City conference and Council members will play an important part in the meetings, to be held in the Bellerive Hotel. Among them will be Donald C. McKinlay '37 of Denver, chairman of the Alumni Council Committee on Enrollment and Admissions, who will preside at one of the sessions.

Advance arrangements for the conference are in charge of four members of the Kansas City alumni group. They are Walter McCray '29, club president, Alexander L. McPherson II '44, secretary, Frederick P. Barnes '26 and Creighton C. Hart '28.
