Academic Delegates

Alumni of the College represented Dartmouth at five academic occasions during May.

Norman F. Carver 21 was present on May 7 at the inauguration of Weimer K. Hicks as president of Kalamazoo College (Michigan); and on May 8 George C. Carpenter Jr. '18 attended the inauguration of William E. Kerstetter as president of Simpson College in Indianola, lowa. Franklin S. Eggleston '32 represented Dartmouth at the Centennial Convocation of Rhode Island College of Education on May 16.

At the inauguration of H. Russell Beatty as president of Wentworth Institute, Melrose, Mass., Clarence E. Paddock '00 was the College's official delegate on May 22; while William McNiff '24 represented Dartmouth at the Centennial observance of the founding of The Western College for Women in Oxford, Ohio, on May 24.
