William G. Raoul '33 was elected president of the Dartmouth-Chattanooga Alumni Association at a stag barbecue held on September 7 on Lake Chickamauga. This barbecue is an annual affair to honor Chattanoogans who are leaving for Hanover to enter Dartmouth for the first time. This year those so honored were Bill Pettway Jr. of Lookout Mountain and Tommy Seessel and James Wall of Signal Mountain. All three were graduated from Chattanooga's Baylor School in June and are entering Dartmouth's Class of 1959.

Elected with Raoul were G. Z. (Bome) Patten '52, Secretary-Treasurer; and Joseph H. Davenport Jr., '46, Joseph H. Layne '21 and Richard H. Houck '34, Executive Committee members.
