When you read this the 1955 Alumni Fund drive will be starting to pick up momentum. To maintain the previous record of 1906 every man will have to put his shoulder to the wheel. Two of our large contributors will not be sending in gifts this year so those of us who are left will have to dig deeper if we are going to stay at the head of the parade. So please increase the amount of your gift and send it in as promptly as possible. Many thanks.

Arthur Holmes is back in Mary Hitchcock Hospital for further X-ray treatments. Reading the record of what the doctors have been doing to him makes one think of the Spanish Inquisition.

Another of our classmates has left us. "Annie" Moore died on Friday, February 11. Art Chapin and Herb Rainie represented the Class at his funeral on Monday, February 14.

Our Treasurer received a letter from MaxHartmann dated January 31, in which he stated that he was back on the Island of Mallorca for the winter. Has been wandering around the coast of the Mediterranean for several months, visiting Turkey and North Africa. Says he may possibly return to this country in April.

Charlie Luck writes that Coriane has entirely recovered from her recent illness and is once again enjoying the California sunshine.

Phil Chase is another example of a doctor who is able to keep others well but not himself. Was recently discharged from St. Mary's Hospital after a long sojourn. Says he is feeling tip-top now.

Charlie Crane's new address is 186 Elm St., Montpelier, Vt.
