Far West Conference

Plans for the Dartmouth Regional Conference in San Francisco next October 6-9 advanced last month with the news that President Dickey would attend and would be the main speaker at the final Saturday night banquet for all alumni, their wives, and parents of undergraduates.

The conference, jointly sponsored by the Alumni Council and several of the Far Western alumni associations, will cover a wide range of Dartmouth activities, with emphasis on alumni organization, enrollment and admissions. Guy P. Wallick '21, Council member from California, is directing the plans being made by a Host Committee including William R. Abbott Jr. '27, chairman, Preston H. Kelsey '25, Paul F. McKown '23, Peter H. Zischke '52, Robert A. Bowler '51, Peter B. Bogardus '51, Ritchie Smith '26, Edwin J. Drechsel '36, Guy R. Carpenter '10 and Richard A. Brown '52.
