Our annual reception for accepted freshmen in the Northern New Jersey Suburban area has now been definitely slated for Tuesday evening, May 10. The locale, as usual, will be the Hotel Suburban in East Orange. At this affair, the Dartmouth-men-to-be and their parents will be shown several films including My First Week at Dartmouth as well as several others dealing with Outing Club activities. Following the films, refreshments will be served and a reception committee, consisting of various members of our board and the members of local interviewing and enrollment committees, will be on hand to answer any and all questions about life on the Hanover Plain.

Plans are now being drawn up for our final official conclave of the year, the annual alumni picnic. Normally, this session takes place early in June, and rain or shine has always been a highly successful occasion, and the only one of the year which includes, not only wives, but small fry as well. There is always plenty of activity for both kids and grown-ups and we ask that all members please keep a weather eye out for our mailing on the event, which will be out this month, in plenty of time to make all arrangements to be there.
