In this month's mailbag is word that Mike Fay wed Christine Miller on September 15 in Centerville, Mass. Chris, a graduate of Niagara University studying for her M.B.A. degree at Boston College, is a financial analyst for the Kendall Company in Boston. Mike is an attorney with the Boston law firm of Hale and Dorr.
Tom Weigle is practicing obstetrics, gynecology, and gynecologic surgery in Farmington, Maine, and is an active associate member of the medical staff of Franklin Memorial Hospital. A native of New Hampshire, Tom completed a rotating internship and three-year residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Bay State Medical Center in Springfield, Mass. Tom, his wife, and three daughters live in Wilton, Maine.
Mitch Wallerstein has been appointed an assistant professor of political science at Holy Cross College in Worcester, Mass. Mitch earned his M.S. degree ill 1977 and his Ph.D. in 1978, both in political science from M.I.T. He has previously served as the associate director for public affairs at Dartmouth from 1972 to 1974, as a consultant for the Ford Foundation in 1978, and as a research assistant with M.l.T.'s International Nutrition Program.
Russ Schleipman, a frequent contributor to Yankee and the DARTMOUTH ALUMNI MAGAZINE, collaborated with writer David Shribman '76 and New Hampshire Profiles magazine managing editor Robert Sullivan '75 for a portrait of the College in words and pictures which appeared in the October issue.of Profiles. Shribman, who is with the Washington bureau of the Buffalo Evening News, penned the article as part of a Dartmouth football history he is writing. The hero of the piece is not star pass-catcher Dave Shula '81, but Dartmouth balloon man Frank DelVecchio, who is "as familiar a Hanover landmark as Baker Library and, if truth be told, he's been around almost as long." Russ lent his photographic talents to the feature.
Chris Crosby, who is now director of marketing for Trak Skis Inc., divides his time between a home in Corinth, Vt., and restoring a Federalist house in Newburyport, Mass.
Ted Littwin has returned to teach and coach at Deerfield Academy after completing another summer at Middlebury's Breadloaf School of English.
Chuck Bent is headed west again for the winter to teach ski racing in New Mexico. He spent last summer running a construction and contracting business from his farmhouse in North Canaan, N.H.
Charlie Collier has moved to Barrington, R.I., and joined the Brown University fundraising staff as associate director of their bequest and estate-planning program.
