On April 6, we held our first Hanover Holiday program at the Longraeadow Country Club. The program was held in conjunction with our annual meeting and proved most successful. There are many who attribute the success of the meeting to the fact that wives and girl friends were invited. More than 100 attended and were rewarded by the excellent talks of Prof. John C. Adams and Prof. C. N. Allen '24.

New officers for the coming year were elected as follows: President - Richard L. Danforth '29; Vice President - Marshall E. Roper '37; Secretary - F. Warren Miller '40; Treasurer - Raymond M. Seabury Jr. '41; Executive Committee: George F. Weston '23, Frederick S. Pillsbury '40, William Orr II '44, Russell D. Chase '50.

Another feature of the meeting was the announcement of the establishment of an enrollment committee. Retiring President Frederick Pillsbury '40 spoke briefly of the aims and objects of the enrollment committee and the reason for its formation. Charles Brown '42 of the North Shore Alumni Club obliged us by visiting with our new committee and furnishing it with enthusiasm and suggestions.

Special guests included Hal Billings '29, Secretary of the Hartford Club; Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Chatto; and Mr. and Mrs. Hugh MacFarlane. Mr. Chatto is principal of Classical High School and Mrs. MacFarlane is principal of Longmeadow High School. Much credit is due James R. Chandler Jr. '38, for the success of this dinner meeting. We have never had one more successful.
