More than 600 Dartmouth alumni and their wives, children and guests attended the concert given by the Dartmouth Glee Club on the evening of March 25 at the Greenwich High School auditorium. Long and loud applause greeted the performance of the fifty-voice club as well as the efforts of the ten-man Injunaires ensemble. An appearance on the nationally televised Ed Sullivan Show on the Sunday previous to the concert served to whet the anticipation of Connecticut Dartmouth men and the Glee Club's superb singing fulfilled all expectations.

Following the concert, 350 alumni and guests attended a gala dance at the Greenwich Country Club at which Dartmouth's own Barbary Coast orchestra furnished the music. President E. A. (Hammy) Hammesfahr '28 and Secretary Charlie Keyes '38 were seen smiling broadly over the fine attendance at the concert and dance, as were Vice President JackReeder '25 and Treasurer Ed Miller '40. Arrangements chairman for the affair was CurtAbel '25. A noteworthy development worth mentioning is the fact that 92 patrons, several of whom were not alumni, contributed towards the success of the evening. Congratulations from the Dartmouth Club of Western Connecticut to Paul ZelLer and his fine- glee club and to the Barbary Coast for their dance music. It was a memorable Dartmouth evening.
