Sports Publicity Head

The appointment of Theodore B. Emery as Director of Sports Information at Dartmouth College has been announced by Robert A. Rolfe '31, director of athletics. Emery, who took over his new duties on July 1, succeeds Clifford L. Jordan '45, who resigned his post to accept a full-time staff position with the Office of Development at Dartmouth.

A graduate of Alma College in Michigan, Emery has been serving since 1952 as assistant sports information director at Michigan State College. Prior to that he was sports publicity director at Alma College and has also had experience as a newspaper writer and radio and television sports commentator. An Air Force veteran, Emery is married and has two children.
