On July 28 a "picnic style" meeting was held at the home of Federal Judge J. FrankMcLaughlin in Honolulu. About fifty were in attendance (including wives and a few children) to enjoy a barbecue supper and to honor the two men who are entering Dartmouth this year. Melvin Kaw and Guy Piltz, graduates of Punahou School, will be members bers of the Class of 1960.

Dr. Louis P. Benezet '99, president of the local Club, was the narrator of an interesting color slide show of the College. Dr. Benezet incidentally has joined the faculty of Jackson College and is possibly the dean of all professors in America in respect to teaching longevity.

Honolulu's mild climate is ideal for outdoor meetings and it is hoped that many more will be held in the future. Among those present were: "Pug" Atherton '35; Prof. L. P. Benezet '99; Rog Benezet '32; Dr. Robert D. Bright '36; Dr. Dick- Dodge '36; Jim Doole '45; David D'rexler '52; Rollie Higgins '44; Judge J. Frank McLaughlin '30; Ted Merriam '21; Dick Morse '38; Dr. Jerome Peacock '45; Maurice D. Smith '46; Dr. Hastings H. Walker '21; Kwock C. Yee '53; Dick Coffin '54; Bill Bahrenburg '58; Livingstone Jenks '57; Dick Walker '58 and Mildred Saunders, who was the College Archivist for fourteen years.
