Fund Work Cited

Gary H. Mansur '51, received the John R. Mason Trophy at the Boston Alumni Fund dinner in late March, in recognition of 1955 Fund achievements that made him the outstanding head agent among the ten youngest classes. Following is his award citation:

Gary H. Mansur, Head Class Agent of the Class of 1951: your energetic and imaginative efforts as Alumni Fund leader of your class brought Green Derby victory in the first year of your service. By the comfortable margin of 13 points you outdistanced your Little Green Derby rivals to provide an inspiring example of the fresh resources now available to the Alumni Fund from classes of the fifties. Your results in both participation and dollars were equally impressive. The 1951 dollar total went over $6,000 for the first time ever, with a gain of almost $1,000 over the year before. The contributor increase from 427 to 466 was second largest of all classes in 19155. For this achievement Dartmouth is thankful, and the Alumni Fund Committee is extremely happy to recognize you as outstanding head class agent of the youngest ten classes in 1955 by the award of the John R. Mason Trophy.
