A newspaper clipping informs us that Harry S. Raymond was elected a vice president of Chicago's oldest insurance agency, Moore, Case, Lyman and Hubbard. "Raymo" and his family are still living in Winnetka, Ill.

Gerald Schnitzer, a 17-year veteran in the motion picture field, is now vice president in charge of the new Robert Lawrence Productions affiliate, Lawrence-Schnitzer Productions, Inc., Hollywood. Jerry began his film career at Dartmouth where he produced

"Fundamental Fun on Skis" while an undergrad. After graduation he turned to Hollywood where, among other achievements, he won laurels as associate producer, director and writer of the award-winning "Naked Sea."

Walter C. Kelley Jr., who has been practicing law for nine years as a partner in the firm of Baskin, Kelly, Lausche & Heavilin, has just been appointed law director by the Shaker Heights (Ohio) Council. He is also vice president of the Citizens League of Greater Cleveland and a member of the Cuyahoga County and Ohio State Bar Associations, as well as corresponding secretary for the Solicitors Association of Cuyahoga County, all of which makes for a good day's work. He and wife Patricia live in Shaker Heights with son David.

Alec Clark is now Coordinator of College Relations at American Cyanamid Co. and says he is "beating the bushes on campuses throughout the land for chemists and chemical engineers."

Julian Blass writes that two of the boys from Little Rock, Ark., have entered Dartmouth this fall, the first in some years. He adds that he is working on an all-state fullback for next year who is good enough, in Julian's opinion, to be on our team now. We hope he is right and we hope he gets him.

Bob Tatgenhorst is still practicing law in Cincinnati, part-time with Taft, Stettinius & Hollister and part-time on his own. He recently celebrated the birth of a fourth son which puts him in the dubious position of expecting three of them to be in college at the same time.

A card from Tom Ballantyne states that he has been living in Ft. Lauderdale for five years. He describes it as "a beautiful city populated by retired tool and die manufac- turers, black market auto dealers with a well rounded sprinkling of neurotics, remittance men, and sundry crackpots." For stimulus, he prods Don Schott a few times with a ski pole until he is fully awakened and then they go trotting off to the Everglades for a few innings of bass fishing. Latest arrival in his family is Joy March, born in August.

"Chuck" Haskell is a manufacturer's representative in Dayton. He deals with military aircraft and missiles. He writes that he very seldom sees any Dartmouth people but would be glad to see anyone from the class if they ever get to Dayton.

Carl Bloede writes "For the past two years I have served on an appointment in Hawaii as an Attorney with the Justice Department. Although the experience has been edifying, I am beginning to chafe under the circumscribed aspects of bureaucracy and expect to return around the first of the year to private law practice in Baltimore and the resumption of trustee functions in respect to extensive family interests. Traced to the influences of Prof. Mecklin, while at Dartmouth, I have since become interested in Unitarianism - due to its iconoclastic precepts and have with others been instrumental in organizing the Unitarian Church of Honolulu (first in the Pacific), the incorporation of which I gained from the Governor on September 11, 1957. We have also called as our Minister an eminent Unitarian scholar, Dr. Frank Ricker, who was formerly head of the Western Region of the Unitarian Organization."

Ed Fettes has been with the Thiokol Chem- ical Co. for fifteen years, and says the only '4O he sees is Copper Nye on his annual pilgrimage every summer to Needham, Mass., on the way to The Gordon Research Conference in New Hampshire.

Your correspondent has taken in two football games this fall, the Brown game in Hanover and the Yale game in New Haven. Outside the stadium in Hanover, Dr. LewLambert ran a stupendous chicken barbecue in behalf of the local PTA. He and his helpers sold some 3,000 dinners, thereby assuring the solvency of the PTA for some time to come. Also in attendance were our hosts for the week-end, Jack and Lois Moody, Don andRuby Rainie, the Ben Bacons and TrennyTrenholms. At the Yale game a large number of classmates turned out for one of the most exciting games in many a year. In our group were Pat and Eddie Miller, Elmer andJoyce Browne, and Dodie and Lew Lambert.Others spotted included the Mac Crosses,Fred Porters, Jack Willsons, Bill Hutchinson,John Crandall, Bert Blake, Cal Sterling and Bill Maxson.

Gordie Wentworth writes that he attended the Harvard game. Prior to the game they joined the Bill Squires for a picnic with a group of assorted alumni of other classes, and before, during and after the game managed to see or talk to the Don Rainies,Manny Manfields, Chet Bretts, Bill Halseys,Copper Nye and Stet Whitcher.

The notes are of necessity short this month because of the extensive listing of contributors to the Alumni Fund. In behalfof the College and of Jack Little, who didsuch an outstanding job as class agent, Iwish to thank you one and all for yourgenerosity.
