FRANK PEMBERTON, director of the Dartmouth News Service for the past four years, resigned last month in order to accept a position at Harvard College, where he will work on public relations aspects of the Program for Harvard College, a fund-raising campaign.
Donald D. McCuaig '54, assistant in the News Service office for the past year, has been named acting director. He is Undergraduate Editor of the DARTMOUTH ALUMNI MAGAZINE and is now in his senior year. He left college in June 1952, worked for CBS Radio News in New York for one year, served two years in the Army, and then returned to Dartmouth to finish his course. Last summer he worked on the Paterson (N. J.) Evening News as a general assignment reporter.
Mr. Pemberton, a graduate of Harvard, came to Dartmouth in February 1953 after seven years with The Providence Journal as feature writer and education editor.
