A recent letter from George Bard's son, Robert J., of Birmingham, Ala., a graduate of Dartmouth, Class of 1919, was the first communication received by your secretary from a relative of our classmate since his decease in the autumn of 1955. Robert is the District Manager of the Friden Calculating Machine Company, Inc., with headquarters at 507 North 22nd Street in Birmingham. He rarely comes North from his home in the Deep South, but last October 16, he wrote, he returned for his first semi-official reunion at Dartmouth in 37 years and attended the Woodstock weekend and the Holy Cross game.
