Prof. Martin L. Lindahl of the Economics Department is the author of The New England Railroads, a report to the New England Governors' Committee on Public Transportation. It is a comprehensive study of the New England railroad system and the problems faced; and on the basis of this study it offers a series of conclusions, policy considerations and recommendations. Professor Lindahl's report was the basis, in turn, for A Railroad Policy for New England, submitted by the Governors' Committee to the New England Governors' Conference.

Prof. Richard B. McCornack '41 is the author of "Judráz y la Armada Norteamericana" in the April-June issue of HistoriaMexicana.

"Zola's La Terre" by Prof. Lawrence E. Harvey appeared in the May issue of TheExplicator.

Prof. Joseph J. Ermenc is the author of "Liberal Arts - Engineering Courses in the United States" in April issue of the Journalof Engineering Education.

"Investments in United States Government Securities by State and Local Governments" by Prof. Colin D. Campbell has been reprinted from the March number of the National Tax Journal.

Prof. Ray Nash is the author of "Plantin's Illustrated Books" in Gedetikboek der PlantinDagen 1555-1955.
