Guy P. Wallick '21 to Head Alumni Council for 1957-58

GUY P. WALLICK '21 of San Francisco was elected president of the Dartmouth Alumni Council for 1957-58 at the annual business meeting of the Council in Hanover last month during the reunion week. Mr. Wallick, who is vice president of the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company, succeeds George C. Nickum '31. He has been a member of the Council since 1954 and presently is serving as chairman of the Committee on Alumni Relations, under the Trustees Planning Committee.

Other officers elected at the June 14 meeting were Lee A. Chilcote '30 of Cleveland, vice president; and Sidney C. Hayward '26 of Hanover, secretary. The executive committee includes Messrs. Wallick, Chilcote and Hayward, Clarence V. Opper '18 of Washington, D. C., and George C. Nickum '31 of Seattle.

As new members-at-large, to serve for three-year terms, the Council elected Harold S. Hirsch '29 of Portland, Ore.; Charles E. Rauch 'go of New Haven, Conn.; John E. Masten '33 of New York City; and Ralph N. Hill Jr. '39 of Burlington, Vt. To fill out the unexpired term of Charles M. French '24, until June 3°, 1958, the Council named Philip G. Moon '42 of Detroit.

F. William Andres '29 of Boston was elected to the Dartmouth College Athletic Council for a first term of three years, and Harry H. Enders '29 of New York City was elected representative on the Board of Overseers of the Hanover Inn for the year 1957-58.
