Sixteen classmates met for dinner at the Dartmouth Club in N.Y.C. on May 8 to hear Art Allen report on the Class Officers Meeting held in Hanover the previous weekend and enjoy a good roast beef dinner. Due to the ever-increasing size of the Alumni Notes section, the ALUMNI MAGAZINE has decided, with the consent of the assembled secretaries, to limit the size of each class column and insist that only important happenings are reported - the chit-chat to be reported in a Class Newsletter. There were two reasons for this decision - first, the excessive cost of printing the MAGAZINE and secondly, the fact that the class notes are beginning to outweigh the feature stories and reports on the College, which have had to be curtailed as a result. Our class* has never been bothered with too much news or too long a column, but it is apparent that most class secretaries have so much news that they exceed their allotment of words. As a result, it was felt by most present, after some discussion, that this column would remain about the same in length and context, unless some new ideas are forthcoming. In attendance at the dinner were: Wally Rushmore, Mike Isaacs, Wally Modarelli, Jim Miller, Paul Fox, Ken LaVine, Don Marcus, Art Allen, Max Wolff, Ping Ferry, Johnny Wolff, Mark Short, Joe Byram, Bo Wentworth, Chuck Maxwell and Al Zinggeler.
Art Allen also reported that many classes have a meeting in Hanover each fall, scheduled in advance to fall on the weekend of a major football game. He suggested that 1932 follow this plan and requested specifically that all members of the class executive committee attend with their wives. Invitations would be sent also to any other members of the class who would like to attend. He announced that he had made tentative reservations for 1932's first such meetine in October 1959, it being too late to get reservations for this year. Instead, there will be a class dinner with wives, the night before the Yale game at the Dartmouth Club in N.Y.C. this fall.

Howie Sargeant reports a letter received from Andy Stollmeyer. Andy is in business with the Building and Electrical Supplies Division of the George F. Huggins Co. in Port of Spain, Trinidad, where he has been located for many years. His three oldest children attend Penn State Univ. although the youngest, now a freshman, plans to attend the Univ. of Lausanne in the fall. A fourth child, Rex, will be ready for college soon. As for himself, Andy says: "Life goes on smoothly and devoid of excitement in this island paradise, where every weekend I can wander around in my aged boat and fish to my heart's content." He also reminds us that right now he and his countrymen are in the midst of forming a new government and at the time of his letter, Princess Margaret was visiting the Island attending the opening of their Festival of Arts. It was nice to have some word of Andy after all these years. Thanks, Howie.
