NEW FACES
October 1960

Forty-four new officers of instruction (see this month's Faculty section) are members of the College staff as the new year opens, and ten others are filling faculty posts in the three associated schools. On the administrative side, Charles F. Dey '52 has assumed the position of Assistant Dean of the College, to which he was appointed last spring, and Seward Weber '49 has joined the staff as Assistant Director of Admissions.

Mr. Weber, whose appointment was made last month, will be responsible for the coordination of enrollment activities and will also help meet the increased volume of applications for admission to the College. He formerly was chief planner for the City of Boston Community Planning Division and also served as a director of the Cambridge Neighborhood House, an area settlement house. After getting his master's degree in city and regional planning from the University of North Carolina, he held planning posts in North Carolina and Rhode Island.
