Spring has brought a rejuvenation of club activities which started with a Dartmouth smoker held at the home of Gary Lange '63. The assembled alums, mostly on the young and hearty side, viewed the "Football Highlights" film with appropriate chuckling at the treatment of the Princeton game because even out here we know how the game really came out and, who dominated the field. The second run of the double feature was a slide show of Jim Janney's '69 Himalayan climbing expedition.
The Glee Club arrived on March 30 and gave an excellent concert to a good crowd at Nathan Eckstein Jr. High. Credit for everything except the quality of the singing should go to the hard-working and effective Glee Club committee made up of GaryLange, Gerry Palm '64, Mai Hill '50, and Jim Jones '50 and to our chief in charge of accommodations, Cynthia McFalls, wife of John McFalls '48. Post-concert festivities at the Lange residence were crowded and enjoyable although the 7:30 a.m. flight of the Glee Club the next morning accelerated the evening schedule.
Finally the Second Annual Northwest Dartmouth-Harvard Invitational Slalom will be completed on the lower chair lift of Alpental by the time these words are read so suffice it is to predict that the event, under the able chairmanship of Jack Crowley '56 will probably be as enjoyable for the participating alumni of Dartmouth, Harvard, Princeton, Yale, and Cornell as last year's event proved itself to be.
