Elliot Baritz reports on Baritz business: "Margie is fine and in her seventh month. Our number three is due in mid-May. Eric was four on Valentine's Day, and Neil 2, nine days earlier. We get a lot of pleasure watching them grow up. Roslyn Heights is about 25 miles from mid-Manhattan. The commuting takes about an hour by Long Island Railroad or car and subway: We have a half acre for the boys and our golden retriever to run around in. The dog is still a puppy, but she'll soon be bigger than I am. Work keeps me busy; I travel to Montreal and Toronto regularly, and last year also went to Chicago, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, and Cleveland. The Handy Button Machine Company is something of a misnomer, since basically we're in the metal stampings and wire forms business. We make several thousand different items, ranging from furniture hardware and covered buttons to buckles, bow tie clips and beer can openers. I'm the Northeastern sales manager. Had a visit today from Rus Blackwood, who is about to leave for the Far East. We also see Betsy and Ritchie Hunt, and next week have a date with Ann and Joel Berson."

Bob Zeiser: "Pat and I were in Hanover for Carnival weekend. Saw Mike McGean. The Sweetlands, whom we usually see, are now living in Minneapolis."
