ALUMNI who remember the Convocation A on Great Issues in the Anglo-Canadian-American Community, held by the College in September 1957, will be interested to know that Dartmouth is planning to have another academic assemblage similar to it. In collaboration with the Medical School, the College will sponsor a second Great Issues Convocation in Hanover this fall, September 8 to 10.

Under the chairmanship of Dr. Rene Dubos, prominent medical scientist of the Rockefeller Institute, the convocation will have the general theme "Medical Conscience in a Scientific World" and will bring to the campus leaders from medicine and other fields to discuss problems growing out of increased medical knowledge. A large attendance of alumni and their families, both medical and otherwise, is expected to gain new understanding of what man's increased control of health really means.

Further information about the convocation will appear in the ALUMNI MAGAZINE as plans develop. Meanwhile, interested alumni may address inquiries to the Convocation Office, Crosby Hall, Hanover, N. H.
