Dr. Edwin H. Allen '85, a good friend and neighbor of mine on Beacon Hill, Boston, observed his ninety-sixth birthday on April 16 last. He is Dartmouth's oldest living graduate.

Widows, relatives and friends wishing to pay tribute to the memory of deceased members of the class of 1889 in this year's Alumni Fund Campaign should mail their contribution before June 30, direct to the Dartmouth Alumni Fund, Hanover, N. H., and state in whose name and by whom (giving address) the contribution is made. Its receipt will be promptly and appreciatively acknowledged.

On April 29 a few friends and relatives gathered in the evening at 108 Mt. Vernon Street, Boston, and acknowledged my ninetysecond birthday anniversary at a dinner on that occasion. A telegram from Sidney C. Hayward, Secretary of the College, forwarded Birthday congratulations.
