THE valedictory address on behalf of the 1960 graduating class will be delivered by Harrison C. Dunning '60 of Moylan, Pa., at Commencement exercises on June is. Dunning, a Phi Beta Kappa student, was Class of 1926 Fellow and an intern in the Department of Defense in Washington last summer and fall. The College has awarded him a James B. Reynolds Scholarship for the study of political science at the London School of Economics next year. The son of Harrison F. Dunning '30, he is a member of the Undergraduate Council, Bones Gate, Casque and Gauntlet, and the 1960 class executive committee.

President Dickey was guest speaker at the annual meeting of the Magazine Publishers Association at The Greenbrier, White Sulphur Springs, W. Va., on May 9. His subject was "Great Issues at Dartmouth: The Story of an Educational Experiment."

Dartmouth's annual Academic Honors Banquet was held May 19 to pay tribute to those undergraduates who have achieved academic distinction during the college year. The address for the occasion was delivered by Dr. Morris Bishop, Kappa Alpha Professor of Romance Literatures at Cornell, and also faculty trustee and historian of the university. Dartmouth students honored included Rufus Choate Scholars, members of Phi Beta Kappa, Senior Fellows, Class of 1926 Fellows, and seniors who have received fellowships for graduate study next year.
