R.F. Treadway '36 Heads General Alumni Association

RICHARD F. TREADWAY '36 of Boston was elected president of the General Alumni Association of Dartmouth College at its annual meeting in Hanover on June 17. Mr. Treadway is president of the Treadway Inn Corporation, which operates a chain of 24 inns in the United States, Jamaica and Nassau. He has been on the executive committee of his class and is on the Board of Overseers of the Hanover Inn. He has served as a State Senator and as president of the Massachusetts Republican Club.

Vice presidents of the Association for 1960-61 are Karl W. Koeniger '17 of Newark, N. J., and John R. Willetts '40 of Milwaukee, Wis. Sidney C. Hayward '26 of Hanover was reelected secretary-treasurer.

M. Carter Strickland '39 of Syracuse, N. Y., was elected chairman of the Association's executive committee. Other executive committee members are Philip K. Murdock '15 of New York City; Charles E. Brundage '16 of Dover, N. J.; John Hurd '21 of Hanover; Lewis K. Johnstone '41 of Cincinnati, Ohio; Richard W. Lippman '42 of Philadelphia; and Kenneth H. Henderson Jr. '51 of Milwaukee, Wis.
