Close to being ready as another major addition to the College plant are the twin mathematics and psychology buildings being constructed off Elm Street, just north of Baker Library. For aerial intelligence about this development we refer you to Page 28. Elm House, at the corner of North Main and Elm Streets, will soon be razed, but the larger Fairbanks Hall, once the main building of Clark School, will probably stand for one more year until other quarters are available for Dartmouth College Films and the art studios now located there.

The Bradley Center for Mathematics, named for Albert Bradley '15 of Greenwich, Conn., former Dartmouth Trustee and retired chairman of the board of General Motors Corporation, will be dedicated November 3 and 4 with a conference on modern mathematics. The two-day program will be attended by a distinguished gathering of mathematicians, whose discussions will involve not only the higher reaches of their field but also the accelerating issue of a whole new method of teaching math in America's secondary schools.

Before this major fall event, however, the College will celebrate Dartmouth Night on Friday, October 13; and the weekend prior to that the annual return to Hanover of the Dartmouth Club Officers and National Enrollment Committee members will take place.
