The sun shone a bright green on Philadelphia on Saturday, October 7. Bob Blackman's team crushed the Red and Blue by what I suspect was the largest margin ever, 30-0. About 500 alumni, wives, undergraduates, dates, and friends then adjourned to the University of Pennsylvania Museum to celebrate with cocktails among the mummies of the Upper Egyptian Room. This year all went smoothly, thanks to much hard work in advance by our new Club social chairman, Bob Boyd '54.
Forty '65's, dads, alumni, and other undergraduates showed up on a hot, humid Monday evening, September 11, for our annual Freshman Send-Offi Dinner at the Dartmouth-Princeton Club. Greg Nahill '64 was the featured speaker, and two Dart- mouth movies were shown.
By the time you read this, the postponed Golf Outing will also be a matter of past history. There was some speculation that the game would be played with black balls (for easy finding in the snow), but the date was Friday, October 27. The place was Overbrook; the host member, Bill Deal '39.
Dates for 1962 to mark on your calendar: Wednesday, February 14: Club Annual Dinner (stag this time) with Dean Thad Seymour as the speaker. Wednesday, March 28: Glee Club Concert.
