Lots doing. Ellsworth Buck, Ed Leech and I had a meeting at Bridgeport and discussed many things, mostly the Golden Book. You questionnaire delinquents also know that they both wanted to help with this vexing problem, and they did. There's a real job to be done on the book, and Hanover seems in full favor. Problems such as photographs, then and now, were discussed. We could cover everyone from the Aegis, but I am skeptic about today. It was Ed Leech's idea that we use snap shots, and maybe that will be it.
We are now starting on our next-of-kin contacts, and our first group will be the widows. No class has a more loyal group. That should be easy. Then search gets more difficult. But, before the hunt is ended, we must get full information on every man registered.
Next, a meeting in N. Y., with Bill Hands,Ellsworth, and Sig Larmon. There, again, the Golden Book. Sig agreed to accept coverage for the class history for the years 1934-1939. Sig will also be on the job when cost estimates are ready for consideration.
A nice word from Page Junkins. He is now back in harness, and it was good to get a birthday card from him. The 1914 class dinner will be held at the Dartmouth Club in N. Y., April 26 at 6:00 P.M.
Jack and Grace Dellinger are leaving Houston for points in Europe for a few months. The Florida Sno Bird has good prospects. It should be a good meeting.
May birthdays for Warren, Kingsford,Files, McCallister, LeCount, Kinne, Smith,Crowell, Stiles, Sleeper, Mackinnon, Main,Barnard and Snow.
Also, we still need 36 questionnaires.
The Class of 1915 returns this year for its 45th Reunion. Can you identify these four '15ers who were at an earlier reunion?
