An early winter visitor to Lima was Tuck School Professor Wayne A. Broehl on his way to Buenos Aires. Professor Boehl planned to spend six weeks lecturing at the University of Buenos Aires on aspects of the general topic, “The Corporate Personality in the Modern Business Society,” under the auspices of Point Four’s successor agency, AID. Due to his short three-day stay in Peru, the Secretary gave him a guided-tour-that-tourists-never-take around Greater Lima, including La Parada, Monterrico, Granja Azul, Chaclacayo, Chosica and Matucana. The Professor was entertained in the home of Anita and Stan Lam-bert ’42, where a small group of DCP stal- warts were waiting. On hand were Gladysand Bob Neuburg ’46, Ed Parsons .’53, and Lee Prior ’52, and our girl Friday, Nancy del Carmen Smith. Lee, incidentally, pro- vided the social note of the evening by es- corting his “flamante” fiancee, Miss Patri- cia Fox, who hails from Buenos Aires.
The DCP is soon to lose one of its most active members, when Hans Paschen ’29T, and wife Peggy return to the States. We of the executive committee owe a debt of gratitude to Hans, not only for his interest in giving the DCP an initial push but for his timely counsel in the administration of af- fairs during the past year.
Secretary, Apartado #371, Lima, Peru
