It has been an exciting fall by any standards — whether one speaks of U.S. foreign policy and the neo-Monroe Doctrine, the Sino-Indian border, the Congressional elections, or the Big Green football team. Certain of these concerns are behind us, while others will be around for a long, long time. As the Christmas season approaches, the activity of the last couple of months must make some classmates look forward to quiet Holidays, though some will be gathering their energies for the added festivities. Whichever style of season you desire, the Class of Fifty-four extends best wishes.

Paul Mackey is a systems analyst with the Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company m Hooke, and Bill Nilli is a systems analyst-accounting with Henry J. Kaiser Company m Oakland, Calif. I imagine they analyze somewhat different systems. Involved in a terrible geographic mix-up is Perry Weston, special agent in Los Angeles with North western Mutual Life Insurance Company. Across the continent in Boston, Dick Moody works as an underwriter for the Employers Surplus Lines Insurance Company.

Finally, as one of the more exotic class pursuits, JohnTenca is both the owner of and the numismatist for the Indian Coin Shop in Glenbrook, Conn. Does he really deal in Indian coins or is the name a throwback to his Alma Mater?
Those of you who are awaiting acknowledgments for your recent letters can testify that your secretary has been a bit pressed for time of late. Perhaps it will give me cause for a New Year's resolution with the next column. In any case, with one further adieu, adieu.
