Not included in the overall totals for the varsity hockey team is a 9-8 victory over a strong alumni sextet. In this annual contest, held this year on January 25, the winning goal was scored late in the third period when the alumni pulled their goalie and attempted to Use six skaters.

Ralph Warburton '47 was high man for the alumni with three goals and bashed in nose. Chet Gale '55 countered with two goals, Bruce Mather '47 had three assists and Dan Goggins '57 had two assists. Gordie Russell '55 went all the way for the alumni in the nets.

Other alumni on the ice included at defense John Grocutt '52, Ryan Ostebo '60, Dana Hennigar '55, Don Thomas '58, John Lanigan '58, Bill Stout '51, Hal Morse '52, and at forward, Ron MacKenzie '56, Seaver Peters '54, Jake Heartl '61, Bob Batson '59, John Wadman '59, Dave Chapin '58, Charlie Sprott '57, Pete Gulick '55, and Warren Loomis '62.
