It has been announced that a Dartmouth Day at the New York World's Fair will be held on Saturday, May 23, 1964. A planning committee of alumni officers in the New York area and of College officials has begun work on the program to be offered on that special Big Green day. Michael R. Pender '47, president of the Dartmouth Alumni Association of Long Island, who is Deputy to the Executive Vice President of the New York World's Fair, is a key man in the making of Dartmouth's plans.
£»> The fall term will end with the fiveday period of final examinations, December 11-15. The College will then have an 18-day Christmas recess, with students returning for registration on Sunday, January 5, and the start of winter-term classes the next day.
