CONCERT SERIES

Once again the College is offering a double-barrelled schedule of concerts, labelled in Green and White and featuring a variety of orchestral, choral, piano solo, and vocal programs. Coming to Spaulding Auditorium to perform will be tenor Rolf Bjoerling, son of the late Jussi Bjoerling; pianist Leonard Pennario; the Prague Chamber Orchestra for two concerts, duo pianists Josette and Yvette Roman, pianist Charles Rosen, the DePaur Chorus, pianist Rosalyn Tueck, and mezzo soprano Shirley Verrett. The Dartmouth Community Symphony Orchestra under conductor Mario di Bonaventura's baton will play with Rosen and in a combined choral-orchestra concert with the Dartmouth Glee Club and the University of Rochester Women's Chorus in a performance of the choral works of American composer Howard Hanson.
