The Dartmouth Club gathered Friday, December 27 for our annual Christmas dinner at the Peachtree Golf Club in Atlanta. Despite the proximity of Christmas and the frigidity of the "Sunny" South over 70 were in attendance. Undergraduates and their parents and dates joined the alumni faithful for an evening of fun and fellowship. The wives and other "best" girls were at their prettiest.

A series of up-to-date slides was presented to show some of the newness that has come to the college. An informative narration by Donald Shedd '47 brought the pictorial story to life and brought on many requests for more detailed elaboration. Such was the interest instilled.

John Granfield '46, president, presided. Our treasurer, J. Ed Gingrich '48, made his annual report. Jim Valentine '63 introduced the students and dates who were home for the Christmas holidays and who were club guests.

Alumni attending for the first time were George Dyke Jr. '44; John C. Everett '41; Lou Frick '38; Dr. Ken Herrman '56; Richard Leary '46; Charles Moses '38; Dr. John Per-Lee '51 and Don Shropshire Jr. '61.

Announcement was made of the coming performance in Atlanta of the Dartmouth Glee Club scheduled for Saturday, March 28. This performance is eagerly awaited and the past successes are sure to be surpassed.

At the lectern with the Detroit AlumniClub's featured speaker Dean ThaddeusSeymour are (l to r) Dave Moss '58, retiring president; Jim Tracy '36, meetingchairman; Dean Seymour; Hanny Mason'57, the newly-elected president.
