What's going on out there? Hank Doremus and I are still active in our Florida community, and we expect you all to be the same.

The Berensons, Collises, Koops, Putnams and Dorans are still planning our 69th mini-reunion for Friday and Saturday, September 29 and 30. Best to let me know if you plan to be with us.

In Florida we are still moaning the results of the Dartmouth class of 2010 admissions process. Swamped with applications, McNutt Hall was able to accept only something like one out of 15, so some great young people fell by the wayside (including the following one!).

Our top local choice spent March as a helper to a medical mission in Cambodia and followed up with attendance at a student UN conference in Moscow. And she is spending the summer in Turkey, with a side trip to Greece. She just gave our Rotary Club an audio/visual report on her Cambodia experience. Aretired admiral/member was heard to say: "That girl is one in a million."

SAT scores get maximum weight. So I asked 18 super-successful retired executives: "How many of you graduated from high school in the top 10 percent of your class?" Eight hands went up out of 18!

See you in Hanover—I hope!
