APRIL 1964

Saturday, April 18 has been selected as the date of the traditional Harvard- Dartmouth Slalom at Tuckerman's Ravine. This race, which is open to undergraduates and alumni, combines the fun of slalom racing, the joys of Tuckerman's Ravine in the springtime, and the camaraderie of the rapidly disappearing breed of skiers who are willing to climb a bit for their downhill thrills. The meet will start at noon and will be followed Saturday evening by the usual gathering at the Harvard Cabin at Pinkham Notch.

Accommodations are plentiful in the area with the advent of uphill transportation on Wildcat Mountain, and interested alumni are urged to step forward to uphold the honor of Dartmouth which has been severely trampled by a recent surge of interest by the Harvardians. In case of inclement weather the race will be held on Sunday.
