On Wednesday, May 13, 1964 we are holding Dartmouth Night at the Pops. The Pops, a Boston tradition, is one of our major events of our year. We hope to see all of you there. We did see you at the big dinner in January and we hope for another big turnout at the Boston Pops on May 13. President Gordon Wentworth '40 is really urging a large support.
We also remind you to attend as often as possible the weekly luncheons at the Revere Room of the Parker House on each Thursday at 12:30. Your secretary goes once in awhile and is soon to publish the names of the regulars. There are some mighty faithful men at this weekly luncheon.
The Boston Alumni Association lost by death one of our former presidents and most loyal members, Joseph W. Worthen '09. The funeral was held in the Winchester Congregational Church and this large church was completely filled. The minister, who gave the eulogy, quoted from some of Joe's own words and in particular some things he said to his own classmates at the 50th reunion of his Dartmouth class in 1959. Your secretary observed many Dartmouth alumni at this very impressive service.
We expect to see you at the Pops.
Secretary, 36 Salisbury St., Winchester, Mass.
