This is the last issue of the ALUMNI MAGAZINE for this year, so there is just time to make out your donation to the Alumni Fund. The rest of the Class is pitching in and '61 is looking pretty good. To really go over the top, Head Agent Mike Hecht needs your donation. How's about it? If your Class Agent hasn't contacted you yet, send your contribution to Mike at 6641 Chestnut St., Cincinnati 27, Ohio.

Gotta pile of marriage clippings about as high as a bottle of beer (actual comparison scientifically made by humble secretary in search of his muse). For instance, the marriage of Dave Hugo and Miss Stephanie Wayland was announced in March. The Hugos are living in Bloomington, Ind., where Dave is with McGraw-Hill. Another secret agent from Hanover, John Reno and the former Miss Suzanne McKnight have said their troths (which means vows, I think). Several of the boys, notably Eric Larsen,Mills Omaly, Bob Vale and John Wooster were on hand to see that Brother Reno didn't lose the ring. First Lt. Wayne Snow, currently with the Army at Ft. Bragg, N. C., and Miss Karen Becker were married last April in Colorado. As for engagements, we've got a stack of them as high as half a bottle of beer (again, a product of actual research). Bill Kupinse and Miss Patricia McGrew are planning a summer wedding. Bill is in his third year at Cornell Law. Miss Franee Abram and Bill Weintraub will be married this month. Probably shortly after Bill's graduation from Harvard Med. Dave Ranney met his betrothed in Calcutta, India during a year of study there on a fellowship from the Maxwell School at Syracuse. Her name is Miss Roberta Dick and the couple is planning to wed this month. The scourge of peaceful Port Washington, N. Y., Bill LaVeen has decided to settle down and let Miss Louise Havens handle the family budget. The prospective bride is currently with the Museum of Modern Art m New York. One of our most colorful bachelors, Terry Rogers, has decided that he is tired of eating cold spaghetti 17 times a week, searching for a clean shirt at the bottom of the closet pile and having nobody to write sonnets to, so he got himself engaged to Miss Joy Harwood of Chicago. Terry and Joy are planning an early June wedding m New York. The parents of Miss Sidney Mishkin have announced the engagement of their daughter to Barry Fentin. Barry is at B.U. Law School.

There is only enough stag news to equal about one sip in a bottle of beer. Pat Irish, that paragon of Army officers, has just completed an eight-week orientation course at Ft. Benning, Ga. Slope-Demon Skip Bean, having just finished training with the Army's Biathlon team will be coaching the ski team at Lebanon High this fall. Skip will be moving to Leb with his wife Pam and the two little Beans. Mike Steinberg was recently elected secretary of the Harvard Law School Forum. Mike is in his second year at Harvard. Skip Barnett got his M.S. from lowa State last February and is obviously going on to great things. Lenny DiSavino was recently promoted to a first lieutenant in the Army. Lenny is serving near Wurzburg, Germany. Bruce Forester and wife Ricky have been all over the globe in the past year. Bruce is still in Medical School at Columbia and currently plans to spend his summer working on a grant at the Queen College Hospital in Honolulu. Sounds like these budding physicians get a little fun out of life anyhow.

Well troops, no more clippings, no more letters, no more news and no more beer. If any of you soldiers of fortune are trekking across the country this summer, bounce on into Cincinnati and drop a dime in the phone. I'll be glad to guide you around, I'm sure with two of us working on it we can find something going on - haven't been too successful searching alone.

Don't forget the Alumni Fund!
