An enthusiastic crowd of Cleveland-area alumni and wives met at the Cleveland Skating Club on April 22 for the annual dinner of the Dartmouth Alumni Association of Cleveland. Shepherded to success by chairman Dan Carroll '47, the evening was highlighted by a resume given by college summer programs Dean Waldo Chamberlain of the many activities planned for our Hanover campus this summer.

1963-64 President Wally Meckes '42 democratically oversaw the election of these officers for the coming year: president, AndyCarstensen '45; first vice-president, MartyKing '38; second vice-president, John Klein'52; secretary, Fritz Harrell '53; abd treesurer, George Kingsley '54.

President Andy Carstensen is planning an alumni picnic to be the sole event in the Cleveland-area summer program. Friday, July 10, is the proposed date; save the day and expect to hear more details soon.

All alumni are cordially invited to the weekly Friday luncheon at the Mid-Day Club atop Cleveland's Union Commerce Building, centrally located downtown on Euclid Avenue at 9th Street. Noon is the hour; the entertainment is free-lance; men pressed by business can exit whenever they wish.

Two of the men who added the Dartmouth "extra" to President Dickey's Japan visitwere Masuo Iwanami '25a (l), president of the Tokyo Dartmouth Club, and Bill Breer'57, secretary. Bill, son-in-law of Charlie French '24, is with the U. S. Embassy.
