Burbank writes he is under the weather and, by doctor's orders, does nothing. Hopes in a few weeks to be better and then will write.

From Stanley comes a note that now he is not in charge of the office in Philadelphia of the Factory Mutual, and most of his work at present is adjusting losses.

Under date of October 12 Walker writes that after a comfortable voyage he reached Honolulu, and Mrs. Walker made a record by being free from sea sickness during any part of the journey. Mrs. Walker picked up gradually while on the boat and now she is at home Sid feels sure her recovery will proceed satisfactorily.
