The tennis team after a fine start in the south has been cooled off and now stands 9-9. Among the losses since our last report are five straight against Ivy competition. Princeton and Harvard shut out the Green 9-0. Yale trounced the Green 8-1, Columbia beat Dartmouth for the first time since 1956, 6-3, and Penn was the winner 8-1. The only wins came against non-league teams: Middlebury 9-0, Holy Cross 8-1, and M.I.T. 5-4.

Dartmouth's four top players were entered in the New England Intercollegiates: Tucky Mays, Dave Barton, Doug Judah, and Captain Ned Miller. After two days of competition, as this is written, Dartmouth stood fifth with thirteen points.
