A long letter from Bob Hardy reports on his extensive travels with Hilda during the past couple of years in the course of which he met many Dartmouth people, but lew members of the class. Included m his itineraries were Hanover (for Alumni Council meetings), Western Canada, Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico. Mexico, Hawaii, and Las Vegas He has seen Frank Brick on and off in such places as Estoril, Portugal, as well as Florida. New York, and Hanover He was also a luncheon and golf guest of Tiger Lyon in Chicago. Carolyn Jameson recently was a dinner guest at his home. Bob s office is on the Tamiami Trail in the southern part of Sarasota and anyone driving up or down the west coast of Florida probably goes right by the door. He wishes some of them would drop by when they are down here as I am always anxious to renew acquaintance with any of my classmates.

It was hoped that we d get enough material to complete these notes at the annual dinner of the Boston Alumni Association held early in February. Unfortunately only five classmates appeared on the scene. Jock Brace as usual was at the head table. Johnnie Garrod, a "regular" at these affairs, reported he's been busy helping his son, Miles, complete the renovation of his home in Milford, N. H., and that he's been blessed with a third grandchild, a boy this time. He went hunting for deer last fall, but his efforts were fruitless from the standpoint of bagging his quarry. Don Hunt was present with Matt Beard, father of star quarterback, Mickey Beard '67. Don's Florida sailing vacation plans with the Ed Burnses were up in the air because Frances had just undergone an emergency operation. The one remaining attendee was Bob Rhoades, who reported - of all things! - that Polly also had just undergone an emergency operation. Seated at our table, in addition to several distinguished members of the Class of 1922, was the father of a sophomore who was the recipient of the Greater Boston Regional Scholarship.
