A one-way ticket to Tangiers was the winning prize for a raffle held at the annual Dartmouth Tea Dance. Conceived by TomRoulston '55, it was won by a vice president of a local department store. He has not been seen since. Chairman . Dick Blum '53 planned this well-attended affair with the assistance of Stan Westberg '53 and HowieMarket '52.
A very enjoyable picnic was held at the Clifton Beach Yacht Club for entering freshmen in September. Frank Treadway'50, enrollment chairman, organized the gettogether, which was attended by 18 freshmen.
The second week of October, Dick Jaeger '59 of the Admissions Office came to Cleveland and spoke to prospective high school seniors who are interested in Dartmouth. He also met with college advisors from the East Side at an informal luncheon and gave an informative talk, followed by a question and answer period.
