MARCH 1966

The direction of the two major student communications outlets on campus is now in new hands.

Michael A. Wolff '67 of Rochester, Minn., has been chosen as Editor-in-Chief of The Dartmouth. Working with him on the daily newspaper's new directorate will be R. Stephen Cheheyl '67 of Lakewood, Ohio, business manager; Robert L. Ruxin '67 of University Heights, Ohio, associate business manager; Robert S. Span '67 of New York City, managing editor; Jonathan C. Goldsmith '67 of New York City, assistant managing editor; Michael W. Wilson '67 of Santa Fe, N. Mex., executive editor; and George W. Wait '67 of Watertown, N. Y., co-sports editor.

Also named to The Dartmouth's editorial board were Peter J. Golenbock '67 of Stamford, Conn., co-sports editor; Arthur N. Haupt '67 of McLean, Va., reviews editor; and David A. Levitt '67, staff director.

Owen G. Leach '67 of Greenwich, Conn., was selected to head the 1967 Directorate for WDCR as the new General Manager of the campus radio station. Other members of the WDCR leadership group are Michael A. Hennessey '67 of New York City, business manager; Robert B. Buck '67 of Alamo, Cal., program director; and Eric C. Kintner '67 of Annandale, Va., technical director.

One of the first moves by The Dartmouth's new board was to replace the modernistic logotype which has been in use for the past five years at the top of page 1 with the more traditional design, Indian head and all. The old "flag," the editors said, "was worn out physically and aesthetically."
