Armstrong A. Stam-baugh Jr. '42 of Bryn Mawr, Pa., vice president of the Gulf Oil Corporation, is the new president of the General Association of Alumni of Dartmouth College for 1966-67. His election and that of other association officers were announced at the annual Commencement Luncheon.
Mr. Stambaugh is in charge of Gulf Oil Corporation's eastern marketing region with headquarters in Philadelphia. He has been with the company since 1948 and has held executive marketing positions in Pittsburgh, Boston and Houston, prior to Philadelphia. He holds a master's degree from Harvard Business School, where he was research assistant and instructor until 1948. He has been active in many business, community and charitable organizations, and is currently a director of the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia.
Three General Association vice presidents elected for 1966-67 are Vincent K. Smith '17, Wickliffe, Ohio; Robert P. Burroughs '21, Manchester, N. H.; and Stanley H. Feldberg '46, Wellesley, Mass. J. Michael McGean '49 of Hanover was reelected secretary.
The Association's new executive com- mittee is headed by Harrison F. Dunning '30 of Moylan, Pa., as chairman. Other members are John C. Wood '22, New York City; Roger Billings '23, Wellesley Hills, Mass.; Edgar M. Batchelder '27, Marblehead, Mass.; David F. Squire '47, Stamford, Conn.; W. Scane Bowler '48, Cleveland, Ohio; and Stanley B. McCrea '57, Framingham Center, Mass.
