The Class of 1968's second annual fall concert has been scheduled for Princeton Weekend in Hanover, Saturday, October 8, at 8:30 p.m. An estimated 5800 seats will be set up in Leverone Field House for the event, which this year features folk-singers Judy Collins and Theodore Bikel.
Billed as "the second phase of '68's effort to bring big-name entertainment to the College," the Collins-Bikel extravaganza follows last year's offering of Peter, Paul and Mary, for which 5500 tickets sold out in just a few days.
Ticket sales for the performance by the renowned folk-singers begin September 24 at the Hopkins Center Box Office, for $2.50 and $3.50 each. Interested alumni are urged to order tickets in advance.
Concert chairman Eric A. Jones '68 stated recently that, starting with the Class of 1970, the fall concert series would be maintained as an annual sophomore class project, done each year in conjunction with the Hopkins Center.
