FRESHMAN REPORT

Just a quick look at the Class of 1974 which has begun its fall season. In football, the Little Indians won their first two games, defeating Holy Cross, 21-14, and Brown, 35-14, but lost to Norwich, 13-0.

The first indication is that this freshman team has a promising array of backfield talent but lacks the size in the line that was so conspicuous last year. The names of halfbacks Ben Bridges (Evanston, Ill.) and Rick Klupchak (Olympia Fields, Ill.) bear watching.

Freshman cross country won two of three opening events with Brian O'Hanlon setting a strong pace. In freshman soccer, the Little Indians stood 0-3-1 midway in the season.
